Snoopy returns.

Snoopy, our very first foster monster, has decided to grace us with his furry bum while his mom goes out of town until Sunday.

Ever since he was adopted in April 2011 his mom and I have kept in touch, meeting up every few weeks for play dates at the park. Halladay and Wookie love their little friend -- in fact, Halladay turns into schnoodle confetti every time he sees Snoopy, so it was a no-brainer when his mom asked if we could chaperon for a few days.

There is such a big difference between the present day Snoopy and 2011 Snoopy. The little monkey once known as Snoopzilla due to his penchant for biting has mellowed out tremendously. With the exception of one growly moment last night in bed (the old adage "let sleeping dogs lie" fits Snoopy to a tee) it has been smooth sailing ever since his mom dropped him off Wednesday night. He even rolls over for belly rubs now -- something I can't recall him ever doing he was our foster.

For a dog who was once considered "unadoptable" he sure has come a long way.
