January Rescue-versaries!

Before we say sayonara to January, I wanted to wish a few lucky pups a happy rescue-versary:

Sandy was a 6-8 year old terrier mix who arrived in rescue from a shelter in Nunavut.

Lola was a 10 year old terrier mix who was rescued from a hoarding situation with 18 other dogs.

Bogey was a 5 year old schnauzer who came to stay with us after being rescued from a puppy mill.

the 'here' links aren't working :(

    1. Really? Works for me. It should bring you to a new page that show all of the posts about Lola/Bogey/Sandy.

  2. Awesome :)

Hey who's the white husky-type looking dog? Such a nice dog!

    1. For the life of me I can't remember her name (it's on the tip of my tongue) but she was adopted by Lola's adopter a couple of years ago. Apparently she was incredibly shy and afraid of people originally but has come leaps and bounds. Very sweet little pup - reminded me so much of Halladay personality-wise.

  3. Wishing them all a happy rescue-versery!

  4. I remember Bogey. I tracked his life. LOL.

As for what you mentioned about spaying and neutering, I am doing my best to find programs in our country that can provide us with cheap spaying and neutering veterinary services. The one in the clinic we visit is a lot more expensive compared to their other services because this isn't something they do often.

Rest assured, the cone will come!!!

    Huggies and Cheese,

    1. It's shameful how expensive it is to spay/neuter pets. :( Good luck, I hope you find someone who can give you a discount too.

Can't wait to see the cones of shame!
