Unlike Wookie and Halladay, who's favorite time of the year is winter (they don't get that from me - clearly they're adopted) Coco is not a fan of trudging through knee deep snow only to end up with snowballs and cold paws. Instead, she would much rather spend some quality time inside with her people - staying warm.
Here is Coco's three step guide to making the most of the holidays:
SLEEP
BE NAUGHTY

Sounds a very wise way to enjoy yourself :) wish we had some snow, all we have is rain :(
ReplyDeleteWe've had both. Snow, then freezing rain, then another layer of snow, and for good measure - more rain! Snow wins every time, though :)
DeleteI am with Coco on not going out in all that snow. It is too hard work. Looks like a great holiday. Lee
ReplyDeleteOn the plus side, walking through the snow is tough work and = sleepy time when everyone gets home.
DeleteIt's also difficult to go outside when the snow is higher than your head!! Never mind snowballs.... Sometimes when I'm waiting for Mommy to shovel a path, I just pee on the back of her boot. But I'm definitely with Coco on Step 1 and Step 2, although I repeat Step 1 again cause it's ALL mine!! And super awesome for me - my mommy is a very messy cook. Yeah to de-boning the turkey with no counter space! You wouldn't believe what falls from her fingers on the way to the green bin. YUM.
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays to Aunt Mel and Uncle Randie, my step-brother Halladay and all the other monsters that have peed in your house. Here's to a safe and loving 2013 where every dog has warm baseboards to pee on and still get kisses on the top of their head.
Sounds like we should have sent our monsters to your place for dinner. Sadly for them, no turkey fell from the heavens. I know, I know. They have it rough here.
DeleteLooking forward to seeing more of you in 2013!
LOL! The google pics of dog snowballs are the best!! Chase doesn't mind the snow too much, and loves finding the deepest patch of untouched snow to do his business (I think he just likes to watch me trudge through it after him to clean up!). By the end of the walk though he's usually doing a three legged walk, and is super anxious to get wiped off with the towel. lol
ReplyDeleteWookie is the same way! Apparently deep snow is the best place to do one's business..? LOL.
