Liberation day.

Back in August I shared these six dogs with you. They, along with dozens of other dogs and cats, were seized from a puppy/kitty mill in May by the Montreal SPCA. The judge had not yet made a decision on the case by the time Hopeful Hearts brought some of these dogs into care, so we were "fostering" them for the SPCA while the owner fought to have her dogs back.

Months and months have gone by, and on Monday, the judge finally ruled: liberation for these furry creatures.

Scruffy and Maddie already have pending adoptions through their foster families, but the other four dogs will be ready for adoption shortly -- as soon as they are all spayed and neutered.

To inquire about them, please email adopting@hopefulhearts.ca.

  2. Jasper could have been our Gemi's twin. So happy for these pups. I am sure they will find amazing homes soon!
