Miko is off to the vet today for her much needed dental surgery. We had to wait until she had put on some pounds and determined (more or less) that her itchies were not health related.
The house is eerily quiet and as much as I thought I would enjoy it, I do miss the pitter patter of her little feet. I keep checking my phone to see if the vet has called and I'm slightly anxious. Due to her age, putting her under anesthesia worries me but I know she's in good hands.

ReplyDeleteIt all went great. :) She lost all of her front teeth but she's adjusting. It's very strange not to have her teeth nibbling on my finger when I give her daily meds smothered in peanut butter.
ReplyDeleteYep, she's a super trooper. A little woozy when she came home but I think she's pretty happy to have a set of nice, healthy teeth.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that Mel, it will be Roxxy's turn soon too as she will also need to lose all front teeth except the canine's and 1 back tooth so far showing mobility. All in all I think it will certainly help her feel better and healthier. I'll keep you posted.
